Liverpool picked up a 2-0 win over Sheffield United but it seems like Naby Keita has picked up yet another injury.

The midfielder has already missed more than a month this season due to an injury and now the manager has confirmed that Keita will miss the Merseyside Derby due a groin injury.

Naby Keita was supposed to start against the Blades but during warmup, he picked up an injury and had to be replaced by James Milner.

And this is certainly a huge blow since the manager has now confirmed that Keita will not be fit enough to face Everton in the FA Cup clash.

“I don’t know exactly what he has, it was his groin, but I can say he won’t be involved against Everton,” added Klopp via talkSPORT.

“That makes it 12 adult players we have [available], plus the kids, so that’s not cool, but we cannot change it.

“I have no clue how it happened, I think it was the last shot in the warm-up when he felt something. He came in [the dressing room] and was limping.

“Everybody who has played football has had this kind of injury and it’s not nice, it’s painful. I don’t know exactly what it is or how long it will take, but I can say already he will not be ready for Sunday.”

The absence of Naby Keita will certainly be a headache since Fabinho is already out with an ankle injury meaning the midfielder area is growing thin for Liverpool with each passing weekend.

Everton are now being managed by Carlo Ancelotti who has already inflicted defeat to Liverpool earlier this season when he managing Napoli so he knows full well where the problems lie for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
