Arsenal plan to bring in a couple of new players during the January transfer window but with that, a few of them are also expected to leave.

The likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil could make their way out of the club and if reports in Italy are to be believed then David Ospina could be the first sale of the new year.

Ospina is currently out on loan to Napoli and the Colombian has so far made only nine appearances in the Italian league.

But David has been a regular feature for Napoli in the Champions League and his performances have been praised by many pundits in Italy.

And on the basis of these European endeavours, Napoli are planning to make the loan deal permanent this month itself.

David Ospina has a clause in his contract that would see the Italian club automatically pay a fee for a full transfer after 25 appearances. And so far the shot-stopper has played 15 games in all competitions.

But as per reports, Napoli are not willing to wait any longer and will make David Ospina’s deal permanent this week itself – but on one condition.

Arsenal have currently a price tag of €3.5 million on David Ospina and Napoli want the Gunners to slightly lower that amount.

While Arsenal have no need to do that but with Ospina moving out permanently, Unai Emery will have some cash which he could then use to bring in a new defender – either on loan or permanently.
