Newcastle United Are On The Verge Of Securing A Loan Move For Chelsea Winger

Newcastle United are very close to securing a loan move for Chelsea star Kenedy during the January transfer window – as per reports.

The Magpies wanted to sign the player on a season-long loan during the summer but even after a lot of persuasions, Chelsea refused to let go of the 21-year-old mainly because they were unable to find a suitable replacement.

Now though Chelsea are in line to sign a couple of players at the start of the New Year and as per the Shields Gazette, Newcastle United are hopeful that they will be able to get Kenedy this time around.

The 21-year-old has just made three appearances under Antonio Conte this season and all of those have come in the cup ties. So clearly the talented winger is badly in need of some game time and a move to Newcastle United might just be the answer to this.

Magpies manager Rafa Benitez will be hoping that Chelsea do make a couple of signing early on in January so that he can quickly bring Kenedy to St. James’ Park.
