Neymar playing for Brazil

PSG cruised past OGC Nice in the Ligue 1 beating them 3-0 – out of which Neymar bagged a brace.

The win means that PSG further stretch the gap at the top of the table as they now are at 25 points – 10 points ahead of their closest rivals.

But these three points have come at a personal cost for the Neymar after he played most of the games with a bloodied mouth.

The Brazilian received a whack on the face from Wylan Cyprien which forced the referee to show the midfielder a second yellow card meaning Nice played about 30 minutes of the match with only 10 men.

The one-man advantage though was not really needed as PSG were on the top from the very first whistle.

Nice rarely troubled the French side and went 1-0 down when Neymar put the ball into the back of the net in the 22nd minutes.

The 26-year-old bagged yet another goal in injury time and sandwiched in between them was a goal from Nkunku.

While the fans were a bit concerned with Neymar’s bloodied mouth as the player sat on the pitch for quite some time but thankfully the injury does not look too serious and he should recover pretty soon.

Kylian Mbappe also made his return after serving a three-game ban but failed to put his name on the scoresheet as the night truly belonged to Neymar.
