Man United midfielder Paul Pogba has been on the sidelines due to an injury but it looks like he is finally ready to make a comeback.

Paul Pogba has missed the last three matches with an ankle injury but the manager has confirmed he is fit and available for selection for the League Cup clash.

Solskjaer said(as quoted by Sky Sports): “He’ll probably get some minutes against Rochdale. But we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal.”

Man United will take on Rochdale in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday and Paul Pogba should start that match in midfield alongside the likes of Fred.

But the return of the Frenchman will be much more important since the Old Trafford outfit welcome Arsenal at home next week in the Premier League.

If our predictions are right then Paul Pogba should get 60-odd minutes on Wednesday and then will probably start vs the Gunners on Monday.

The absence of the midfielder has shown once and for all that the current bunch of players cannot replace him on the pitch.

The pairing of Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay have failed to produce the same level of quality and creativity going forward which has seriously hurt United’s goal-scoring ability.

Apart from Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood should also feature vs Rochdale after having recovered from tonsillitis and the youngster should also be named on the bench vs Arsenal.

But some reports claim Marcus Rashford might not be fit to take on Arsenal next weekend which would mean that Greenwood will be an automatic selection when the Gunners come to Old Trafford.

With Paul Pogba fit to take on Arsenal, Nemanja Matic will most likely drop back onto the bench while Scott McTominay plays as the screen to the backline.
