Paulo Dybala could be available for a cut-price deal of €13 million and as per rumours, Manchester United and now Chelsea are interested in signing him.

Dybala played close to 300 games for Juventus before joining AS Roma in 2022. The attacking midfielder has scored 23 goals in 54 games across all competitions for Roma and remains an integral part of the current squad.

However, a release clause of just €13 million is now active and the Italian side are yet to offer him an extension. This clause is for foreign clubs which is the main cause of concern for Roma because, for several Premier League clubs, this amount is peanuts.

A clause also exists for Italian clubs as well but Roma can cancel it by paying a bonus of around €5 million to the player.

As soon as this news came out, Manchester United were immediately linked with the 30-year-old and on Monday, several reports are claiming that Chelsea are also going to fight for his signature as well.

Paulo Dybala scored 115 goals for Juventus and this season, he’s already had 11 goal contributions for Roma. Despite his age, the Argentine is a top player and any team will be lucky to have him but we think, he’s much more suited in Chelsea than Manchester United.

If Dybala joins a team for around €13 million then he will demand a massive salary package and that’s the complete opposition direction in which Man United have decided to walk. Jim Ratcliffe is planning to offload most of the biggest earners in the squad so there’s very little chance that United are serious about signing Paulo Dybala.

Also, Dybala is a natural No 10 and Manchester United already have Bruno Fernandes in their squad so it makes no sense to bring in another attacking midfielder.

Chelsea, on the other hand, badly need a world-class playmaker and someone like Paulo Dybala can be the perfect pit. Pochettino has publicly claimed that he needs reinforcements for the second half of the season which means Boehly is ready to spend money this month.

If a player like Dybala is really available for just €13 million then several big clubs will be interested in signing him but as things stand, the Argentine international will be better suited at Stamford Bridge.
