West Ham United are busy solving problems.

When you read that statement you immediately thought that the board might be concerned with the performance of the side during the new season.

But it seems that instead of clarifying and assuring fans about the pathetic state of the team, the Hammers are busy solving a string of off-field problems.

A couple of days ago, West Ham released an official statement clarifying that Diafra Sakho had left his supercar at the club’s training ground because he was in a rush to join his new club.

This came at the back of reports that Sakho was so eager to move out of the club that he did not care about his car.

And now the Hammers have decided to deal with other issues.

During the past couple of weeks, reports in the British media had suggested that Manuel Pellegrini was not happy with the conditions at the training ground in Rush Green.

So in a bid to clarify the air, the manager has himself come out to say that he is very happy with the facilities at Rush Green.

“There are absolutely no problems with Rush Green,” said Pellegrini.

“It is a modern, efficient facility that enables us to do everything we need with the squad in terms of training and preparation for matches.

“The Club have spent almost £10 million on training facilities over the last couple of years and that investment is set to continue.

“We have excellent training pitches, which mirror the exact layout, dimensions and quality of our home match pitch at London Stadium.

“The medical and fitness facilities are first class, and the changing areas for both the players and coaching staff are more than adequate.

“I cannot comment on what happened prior to my time here – all I know is that I have had every support from the owners and directors since arriving at the club and we are all working together with the same objectives and targets.

“There are no excuses to make and my staff and players will not be making any. We have a training ground and working environment that completely covers our needs and requirements and that is all that matters.
