Ever since Manuel Pellegrini took over at West Ham, he has been bequeathed with the job of remodelling the squad so that the club do not have to fight a relegation battle next season.

And in a bid to do that, the former City manager is planning to bring in a few big names and at the same time, hold onto some of his star players.

If reports are to be believed then the Hammers are now at the forefront of signing Jack Wilshere and the club have made an offer to the midfielder which he might find very difficult to reject.

Earlier this week, Wilshere announced that he would be leaving Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of this month despite the Gunners wanting him to stay at the club.

Reports have it that, Wilshere had met with new manager Unai Emery and the midfielder was duly informed that even though the club wants him to stay but he will not be guaranteed a regular place in the starting line-up.

And this was enough for Wilshere to make up his mind and announce that he was moving out of the club in order to seek a new challenge.

Coming in total contract to this news, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini seems to have offered Jack Wilshere an important role at the club and he has also been told the club will build the team around him – if he joins them during the summer.

West Ham though are not the only club interested in signing Jack Wilshere as reports suggest that Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are also planning to make a move for the midfielder.
