Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is without a doubt the most important player at Arsenal right now but according to Ian Wright, he might be looking to head out in the summer.
The Gabon international has been heavily linked with a move to Spain at the end of the season with Barcelona likely to be his next destination and right believes there’s only one way that he will commit his future to Arsenal.
The pundit said, as reported: “If you can imagine him in a better team, he would be winning Premier Leagues and vying for places in Champions League finals and I think he deserves that.
“You don’t see him particularly vocal on the pitch, [no] pointing and screaming, but it’s what he does in respect of his leadership with the goals that he scores. If you take his goals out of that team then they’re in a massive heap of trouble. Arsenal need a few more players to kick in with their form to help him.
“We’re talking about a goalscorer who is scoring at the rate of a Champions League player, a world-class goalscorer.
“We’re talking about the last big contract in his career. I just hope that the love that he has for the club and the fans have for him is enough for him but I wouldn’t want to be in his position because it’s a tough one for him.”
Will Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave Arsenal?
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is already 30 years old so in theory, he only has a couple of seasons of top-flight football left in him.
And this is perhaps the biggest reason why he will want to move out of England in the summer in case the Gunners cannot bring back Champions League football to the Emirates.

While Arsenal will try really hard to keep hold of him and make him sign a new deal but we feel, Mikel Arteta should be sensible enough to get the best price out of the forward’s transfer and use that money to bring in an ideal replacement.
But all said and done, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is giving his level best and we don’t think even the player would want to play in the Europa League for yet another season, no matter how much he loves Arsenal.
