Gone are the days when four teams dominated the Premier League year after year.

Nowadays, the league has expanded to a six-horse race and instead of using the word top four, the pundits and fans have now shifted to the term top six.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have joined the bandwagon and the former has turned themselves into a powerhouse within a decade of their new ownership.

And almost everyone will agree that the 2018-19 Premier League season is the most competitive campaign that we have seen in recent years.

Manchester City and Liverpool lead the race with 26 points followed by Chelsea and Arsenal at 24 and 22 points respectively.

Tottenham Hotspur too were close to the pack until their loss at the hands of Man City on Monday meaning they have now slipped down to the fifth spot with 21 points.

But the top three clubs on the table right now have managed to achieve a feat which no other trio has managed since the start of the Premier League.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have not lost a single game out of the 10 that they have played in the Premier League making it a solitary feat in the tournament.

Both City and Liverpool have won eight of their 10 games while Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea have managed to pick up three points from seven of their matches.

Arsenal’s Invincibles are the only team in the history of the Premier League to go through a season unbeaten and many pundits have predicted that such a feat might not be repeated again.

But the way the likes of City and Liverpool are playing, we certainly cannot put that record out of their reach.
