Liverpool might be riding high in the Premier League but their run in the Champions League is a bit dubious.
The Reds are unbeaten in the league but have already tasted two defeats in the Champions League meaning their group is still wide open.
Liverpool are second in Group C with five six points – tied with Napoli while PSG sit right behind them on five points.
Jurgen Klopp’s men will take on PSG right after the international break and by the looks of it, the PSG vs Liverpool game could be played infront of a half-empty stadium.
According to French news outlet L’Equipe, PSG might face disciplinary action after troubles during their Champions League game vs Red Star Belgrade.
UEFA’s Disciplinary Committee will have a meeting on the 22nd of November during which they will decide what action to take against PSG.
And one of the punishments that could be handed out is the partial or full closure of the PSG stadium during the PSG vs Liverpool game later this month.
While a full closure will not be possible because Liverpool have already sold out their quota of tickets for the game meaning a partial closure is very much on the cards.
Why might the PSG vs Liverpool game played infront of a partial empty stadium?
The Red Star fans were banned from the game during their Champions League clash vs PSG but a number of fans travelled to Paris and even got entry inside the stadium which led to a few conflicts.

During that very same game, around 250 PSG fans threw projectiles at police outside the stadium, who responded with tear gas – as per reports.
Liverpool have already sold 2000 tickets for the PSG vs Liverpool game meaning the Reds fans will surely travel to Paris for the high profile clash. Now the fate of the home team fans needs to be decided.
