Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard has dropped a huge hint as to how he is planning to approach the upcoming transfer windows.

The Teddy Bears currently sit on the fifth spot of the Premier League table – five points adrift of the top spot and Steven Gerrard is already looking towards the January transfer window.

Rangers FC beat Hamilton 4-1 this weekend but during the international break, the manager was already busy making plans for his upcoming transfers.

The U21 sides of England and Scotland played each other during the international break and reports suggested that Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard was scouting players during the games.

And when the Rangers FC boss was asked this question, he gave a very honest answer.

Steven Gerrard said“Possibly, I’m not going to lie to you. I went to the game because it’s a juicy fixture, England-Scotland always is.

“Two of my players were playing for Scotland as well obviously, Ross McCrorie and Glenn Middleton, who I wanted to watch closely. But I wanted to have a look at what was about.

“A lot of players on show are at clubs but maybe not satisfied with the amount of games they’re playing,

“So I’m not going to sit here and lie and say I wasn’t there to see the talent. I thought it was an interesting game and the best team won on the night.”

Gerrard was appointed as the new manager for Rangers FC during the summer and since then the former Liverpool midfielder has made more than a dozen signings for the club.

Most of these players are youngsters who have been brought on loan spells and it is just logical that the manager is planning on bringing even more youngsters at the start of the new year.
