Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard had claimed a couple of days ago that his club are still planning to bring in a couple of new signings before the transfer window shuts down.

And true to his words, the Light Blues have brought in yet another player.

The Gers have signed NK Osijek left-back Borna Barisic for a fee of around £2 million.

Yesterday it was reported that the 25-year-old is a target for Steven Gerrard and immediately after this news broke out, Borna Barisic was left out of the Osijek team which faced Rudes.

And immediately it was being claimed that the left-back was on his way to Scotland and there were also reports on Monday morning that Borna Barisic was seen at the training grounds at Rangers.

Four Lads Had A Dream which are a reliable source when it comes to information about the Light Blues have claimed that Barisic has arrived at the training grounds.

They wrote on their Twitter account: “Borna Barisic is ‘rumoured’ to be at the training ground right now,”

And now fresh reports are claiming that Borna Barisic is currently having his medical at the club and the deal is expected to be made official in the coming few hours.

While we can be pretty sure that the left-back is on the verge of becoming a Rangers player but right now there is a bit of a doubt about the transfer fee.

Initially, some reports had claimed that the Light Blues were paying £2.2 million for Borna Barisic but now it seems that the fees agreed for the transfer is £1.8 million.
