Rangers FC signed NK Osijek winger Eros Grezda last month on a four-year contract but the player is yet to make an appearance for the Light Blues.

And if reports are to be believed then Steven Gerrard might have to wait a bit longer before he can hand the 23-year-old his debut.

Grezda reported for international duty but now the Albania manager Christian Panucci has sent him back claiming that the winger has not fully recovered from his ankle injury.

This could be a very big problem for Steven Gerrard and Rangers since Eros Grezda picked up this injury back in March but it seems he is yet to fully recover from it.

The Gers have paid £1.8million for the signing of Grezda which in no ways is a small amount and if the winger cannot recover from a six-month-old ankle injury then it could be worrying signs for the manager.

While Rangers will surely look into the injury more deeply but as things stand Eros Grezda will not be making his debut next weekend when Rangers take on Dundee.
