Pellegrini West Ham United Premier League

West Ham United have made a terrible start to the new Premier League season failing to pick up even a single point. And their next set of games will do them no favours at all.

The Hammers spent close to a 100 million pounds during the summer transfer window but Manuel Pellegrini’s side have failed to win a single game out of the four that they have played before the international break.

Their only win came against a 10-man AFC Wimbledon in the Football League Cup which has done very little to impress the Hammers fans.

And once Pellegrini’s side return back from the international break they will take on Marco Silva’s Everton side.

The Toffees are currently seventh on the league table picking up one win and three draws and many pundits believe that Mark Noble and co will have a tough time beating the Merseyside outfit.

But former West Ham manager Harry Redknapp believes that the London club will be able to break the duck and pick up their first points in the new campaign.

Redknapp believes: “It’s been a horrendous start for West Ham, but they can still do it. They need to pick up some results quickly, and I think they’ve got a chance at Everton.

“I saw Everton the other week at Bournemouth and I couldn’t say I was that impressed, and they were poor last week at home to Huddersfield, where they were fortunate to get a draw. So it’s a chance for West Ham.”

West Ham United need to pick up a win against Everton next weekend not only because Pellegrini needs a win to save his job but after Everton, the Hammers will play Chelsea and Manchester United in the Premier League.

If West Ham fail to pick up points in their next three games then Pellegrini will know for sure that the board will be looking for a replacement.
