Both Rangers and Celtic have been linked with Azerbaijan international defender Bahlul Mustafazada during the summer.

The defender currently plays for FK Qabala and during the 2018-19 season, the 22-year-old was a key figure in defence for the Azerbaijan club.

But with his contract expiring last later this month, the player is set to be a free agent and it is certain that he will be moving to the United Kingdom this summer.

While both the Glasgow clubs have been tipped as possible destinations but it seems like Mustafazada doesn’t really care as to which clubs he ends up joining.

Yes, as weird as it may sound, the player has revealed that it doesn’t make much difference whether he ends up at Celtic Park or at Ibrox.

Mustafazada said: “My aim is to play abroad and I have read about the interest from both Celtic and Rangers. There’s been nothing concrete yet though.

“I would do anything to try and make this move happen.

” Celtic or Rangers? For me, there is no difference.

“Yes, it would be interesting to work with a coach like Steven Gerrard, but the main thing for me is my development.

“I do not intend to join any of the clubs in Glasgow just to sit on the bench.

“For the moment though, I am concentrating on our two very important games coming up because I believe we can get the six points.”
