Rangers FC are interested in signing Aberdeen left-back Graeme Shinnie – according to reports.

The Gers have already signed a handful of players this month and the club are showing no signs of slowing down.

Graeme Shinnie joined Aberdeen in the summer of 2015 and since then the player has turned himself into a first-team regular.

This season, the 27-year-old has made 21 appearances in the Premiership – scoring one goal and providing two assists.

But with his contract expiring at the end of the season, Rangers are hoping to snap him up this month for a meagre transfer fee.

The Gers though are not the only club who are interested in signing Graeme Shinnie as reports suggest that Bristol City are also interested in making a bid for the left-back.

Graeme Shinnie will surely be a perfect addition to the Rangers squad but some reports have also suggested that Aberdeen is not too keen on letting the player leave this month.

The Scottish outfit are very much aware that they will suffer a huge financial setback in case Graeme Shinnie leaves as a free agent during the summer.

But Aberdeen is still confident that they will be able to convince the left-back to sign a new deal at the club.
