Arsenal manager seems to have made up his mind on Mesut Ozil and multiple reports claim the Gunners are looking for a buyer.

Mesut Ozil signed a new contract at the Emirates last year but now the playmaker has fallen out of favour under Unai Emery.

During the past couple of months, the player has seen limited game time under the new boss and the situation has gotten so bad that the German has not even made it to the matchday squads during the past couple of matches.

Many pundits feel, Emery is making a huge blunder by selling off Ozil but as per the latest reports, the manager is keen on selling him off due to two primary reasons.

The first one is because Mesut Ozil does not fit into Unai Emery’s tactics at the club.

The manager feels the German is sluggish and the boss wants players who can put in the paces on the pitch.

The second reason as to why the boss is so eager to sell off Mesut Ozil is because he wants to free up some much-needed finances.

The German is currently the highest earning player in Arsenal squad and if they sell him off then the manager would finally get the money to bring in new players.

Unai Emery has already made it clear that the club do not have the finances to make permanent signings this month and maybe that is why the club are so eager to offload Mesut Ozil.

If Arsenal can sell him off in time then they would finally get the money to bring in the much-needed signings.

Mesut Ozil currently earns around 350,000 pounds per week at the Emirates which is a huge sum of money for a player who cannot even make it to the match-day squad.
