Arsenal have been running after Celtic youngster Kieran Tierney all throughout the summer transfer window. But still, they aren’t any closer to signing the Scott.

While some rumours have claimed that the Gunners should wrap up the deal any time now but major publications in Scotland rebuff these claims stating, Arsenal still have a lot of convincing to do.

Neil Lennon has always maintained that his club will only let Kieran Tierney move out if they are paid the correct transfer fee which is estimated to be in the region of £25 million.

But recently there were reports that Liverpool’s Andy Robertson who also happens to be Kieran Tierney’s international teammate has been urging to full-back to move to the Premier League.

The Liverpool defender though was quick to deny all these rumours and now he has gone on to claim that Kieran Tierney will make the right call regarding his future.

‘I’ve played with KT for Scotland and he’s played right back and centre back,’ Liverpool star Robertson told Sky Sports(as reported by the Metro).

I’ve watched him and he’s a very good footballer. Last season he obviously had his injury problems.

‘Whatever happens with KT is up to him and the people around him. He’ll make the right choice. He’s a Celtic boy through and through and you can’t take that away from him.

‘Let’s see how it unfolds. Good luck to him whatever he does.’

Kieran Tierney still have a few years left on his current deal with Celtic which means the Glasgow outfit are in no hurry to offload him.

So naturally, the club are more than willing to pay the waiting game while the onus is on Arsenal to wrap up the transfer before the English transfer window shuts down.
