Romelu Lukaku Man United vs Barcelona

Manchester United take on Watford in the Premier League this weekend and this will be Solskjaer’s first game in charge after he was named the permanent manager.

The Norwegian currently has a more or less a fully fit squad to choose from but it looks like Romelu Lukaku could be an absentee on Saturday.

The Belgium international started down the pecking order when Ole took charge of the club but ever since the likes of Martial and Lingard have picked up injuries, Romelu Lukaku has turned out to be a key figure at the club.

The forward has worked really hard to prove his worth to the new boss and all this effort has been rewarded with a flurry of goals.

But now it looks like Romelu Lukaku could be out for a couple of weeks.

The United striker is believed to have suffered a foot injury during the Champions League comeback vs PSG and then aggravated it in the loss at Arsenal.

It is more or less certain that Romelu Lukaku will not be a part of the Man United squad which take on Watford this weekend and reports claim the Belgian could also miss the UCL clash vs Barcelona in a fortnight’s time.

Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have all reported back to training this weekend after all of them had suffered injury scares during the international break.

This means Solskjaer will have four attackers at his disposal since Juan Mata also made himself fit right before the international break.

The kind of attacking force that the Man United has should see them through vs Watford this weekend but if Romelu Lukaku was to miss the Champions League clash vs Barcelona then it would most certainly be a huge blow for Ole.
