Ryan Hardie is surplus to Rangers for the upcoming season and it looks like Blackpool FC are frontrunners to signing him this summer – as per reports.

The youngster has come up through the ranks at Ibrox but he is yet to break into the first team at the club.

Last season he was sent out on loan to Livingston where he managed to score 7 goals in 16 Premiership games which led some to believe that the player could play a role under Steven Gerrard next campaign.

But with the likes of Morelos and Defoe already available, it looks like the Gers boss has made up his mind to sell off Ryan Hardie.

If reports are to be believed then Blackpool are favourites to sign the youngster and the League One side are desperate to wrap up the deal as early as possible.

Last season Blackpool finished tenth on the League One table managing to score just 50 goals in 46 games and the Seasiders feel that Ryan Hardie could officially end their goal drought next campaign.

Blackpool seem really desperate to wrap up the deal as soon as possible primarily due to QPR’s interest in the Rangers youngster.

QPR are planning to sign Jason Holt from Rangers and some rumours claim that the Championship side might make a move for Ryan Hardie too.

This is why Terry McPhillips wants to wrap up Hardie’s transfer as soon as possible.

Ryan Hardie has obviously no future at Rangers and Steven Gerrard is not going to give him any chance for the upcoming season.

So it would be sensible on the player’s part to join Blackpool during the transfer window or risk being loaned out once again for the 2019-20 season.
