Rangers FC brought in Ryan Kent on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool last season and the winger was an instant success.

He ended up winning the SPFA Young Player of the Year and now the Gers are trying really hard to bring him back for one more season.

Even Jurgen Klopp was impressed by the performances that Ryan Kent put in at Ibrox during the 2018-19 season but despite all the praise, the winger is nowhere close to making a breakthrough in the first XI.

It is clear that Kent will not be a part of the Liverpool squad next season especially with so many clubs interested in bringing him on board.

Leeds United have shown great interest in loaning the player but according to Rangers assistant boss Gary McAllister, Ryan Kent should arrive at Ibrox on loan during the summer.

He told the Scottish Sun: “It is ongoing, but the decisions at Liverpool will probably be later down the line.

“Is he worth the wait? I would say so.

“He has got a rapport with the fans and there is no doubt he enjoyed his time here. That’s on the pitch, in and around the training ground and the city as well — he enjoyed Glasgow.

“We have to be aware that Liverpool might receive bids, but you don’t know.

“If Ryan is to go back out on loan again, I think we’d be first in line.”

The Gers are without a doubt the favourites to sign Ryan Kent is Liverpool are planning to loan him out. But some reports have claimed that the Anfield outfit will be happy to sell him off – if their demands are met.

Liverpool reportedly want around 12 million pounds for the winger which is obviously out of reach for the Gers.

And as things stand, Aston Villa are the only club who have been linked with a purchase interest for Ryan Kent.

There have been no concrete reports about Villa making a move for the winger but given that they have moved back into the Premier League, Dean Smith is surely looking for reinforcements.

If Aston Villa do make a move for buying Ryan Kent then there is no way Rangers can match them but in every other circumstance, it is the Glasgow outfit who are favourites to bring him back for the 2019-20 season.
