Sadio Mane had picked up an injury while playing against Wolves in the Premier League late last month due to which the player missed the next couple of games for Liverpool.

The forward did not feature against West Ham United and then Southampton but Jurgen Klopp had hinted that he should be back after the winter break.

“Sadio will not be involved for West Ham and probably not for Southampton,” the boss had told the club’s official website.

“After that, he should be then fine. The week we have then after that is for him perfect to get back on track.

“He has a small muscle tear, which is serious enough to keep him out. We were lucky with the injury as well, so it was not that serious.”

And true to statement, it seems like Sadio Mane has already returned back to training(as reported) and was seen on the pitch at the Melwood training ground.

The Senegalese forward posted a video of himself training which clearly shows that he will be fit in time to feature for Liverpool when the Reds take on Norwich City this upcoming weekend.

But having said that, Liverpool will be back in Europe next week when they take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League so we guess Jurgen Klopp will not risk using Sadio Mane against the Canaries.

Liverpool already have a 22-point lead in the league so it will be useless to send Sadio Mane out against Norwich and risk injuring him again.

Instead the manager would want him to be fully fit and ready for the trip to Wanda Metropolitano next week.
