Rangers FC will dive into the transfer market once again this January and the club are expected to make atleast four more signings.
And one area that Steven Gerrard will be keeping a keen eye on is the Croatian footballing scene.
The country reached the finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer and the Teddy Bears since then have managed to sign a number of players from the Balkan region.
First, the club signed Nikola Katic and Borna Barisic from Croatia then they brought in Eros Grezda. Now reports are suggesting that the Gers will look into the Croatian market once again for inspiration.
And in a bid to provide support, former Rangers defender Sasa Papac is willing to help Steven Gerrard scout the Croatian market.
Papac spent six glorious years at Ibrox and the defender has hinted at the fact that he could possibly turn a scout for the club in Croatia.

“Nikola Katic and Borna Barisic came over and, of course, Eros Grezda signed from Osijek. Scouting and watching players was not my job (at Zeljeznicar), but, in future, who knows? I have no job right now and I am waiting.
“This is my club. I will support Rangers to the end of my life.”
Gerrard made more than a dozen signings for Rangers during the summer and the spending spree is expected to continue at the start of the new year as the manager plans to bring in back up players for a number of positions.
