Arsenal take on Sheffield United in the Premier League this weekend and left-back Sead Kolasinac has been ruled out of this fixture.
The Gunners have confirmed that the Bosnian will not be available for selection after having picked up a thigh strain during the 1-1 draw vs Crystal Palace last weekend and this will be a serious cause of concern for the Arsenal boss.
As it stands, Arteta’s other left-back Kieran Tierney is also out for a couple of months with a dislocated shoulder meaning vs the Blades the manager will have name a makeshift left-back which is all probability will be Bukayo Saka.
The manager said in his press conference: “I don’t know, the doctors are assessing him still – he had a normal session yesterday. He has been in some discomfort, we know this season that he had some little niggles, so we have to assess him and see if we can get him fit for Saturday or he will be out.”
Apart from Sead Kolasinac, the North London club also have to deal with the injuries to Calum Chambers who is out for the rest of the season and Hector Bellerin who is facing a race against time to be fit before the Sheffield United game.
Also, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang picked up a red card against Palace has weekend and the club’s appeal against it has been turned down which means the forward will also be an absentee this weekend for Arsenal.

Tight right hamstring. Being assessed ahead of Sheffield United (h).
Calum Chambers
Left knee. Ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during Chelsea (h) on 29 December. Successful surgery completed. Rehabilitation process expected to take between six to nine months.
Sead Kolasinac
Left thigh strain. Being assessed ahead of next week, but will not be available for Sheffield United (h).
Kieran Tierney
Right shoulder. Dislocated right shoulder during West Ham Utd (a) on December 9. Successful surgery completed. Rehabilitation process expected to take around three months, aiming to return to full training in March.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Suspended. Following his red card at Crystal Palace, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will miss the next three matches.
