Man United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has kicked off his managerial regime at the club in fine form.

The new boss has managed to pick up six points from his first two games in charge but most importantly Manchester United are back to playing attacking football.

The players have regained their confidence and each and every one of them seems to be enjoying every minute on the pitch.

So far Solskjaer has delivered on every promise that he had made.

He has brought back the Man United way of playing football and has also gone ahead and brought up a number of youth team players to train with the first team.

And now reports are suggesting that the player is set to bring back his mentor to the club.

Yes, Solskjaer has invited Sir Alex Ferguson to pay a visit to the club’s training ground at Carrington which the Scott has duly obliged with.

In his first interview as the new Man United boss, Solskjaer had revealed that one of the first things which he did after the announcement was to text his old boss.

“I have been in touch with the gaffer quite a bit,” Solskjaer said.

“Well, he signed me 22 years ago, so he is the big part of course.

“I don’t know what input he had but when I got the call, of course, I texted the boss.

“I have been in touch with him and I am going to enjoy a nice cup of tea back at his house to sit down and discuss a few ideas.”

Most people believe that the appearance of Sir Alex at Carrington will purely be a motivational one so that the Man United players get to know what they are fighting for.

And some feel that there might very well be a few hairdryer treatments as well.
