Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as caretaker boss after Manchester United sacked Jose Mourinho last month.

And things have only gotten brighter ever since the Norwegian arrived at the club.

This week they head to Wembley in order to take on Spurs in the Premier League but before that, the manager has decided to take everyone out for some warm weather training to Dubai.

Solskjaer has revealed that his sole purpose for taking his players to the middle east was to get a chance to bond with the squad.

And it was here that Sergio Romero revealed what Solskjaer has brought into the club ever since Jose Mourinho left.

“We’ve had a great run,” Romero said.

“Not just the results, but the way in which we have won the games as well. Scoring five goals in one match was a big boost to confidence and was really something.

” What we’re showing now, after a great Christmas, is only right for a club of this stature, [it] proves what we can do. The run we’ve had over Christmas and the new year is testament to that.

“[The manager] knows what he wants to achieve – both for the club and us as individuals.

“On the pitch and within the club, he has made it very clear from the outset so we know the expectation of us inside the club and externally.

“You can see he has brought to the club a certain happiness and it is going well.”

Romero is not the first player who has spoken about the positive atmosphere at the club ever since Ole Solskjaer arrived.

Previously players like Luke Shaw and Nemanja Matic had also claimed that Solskjaer had managed to bring the players together and make them work as one unit.
