The new Premier League season is just around the corner and this is the time for new arrivals and departures for the club.

But apart from all the transfer business, the fans are also excited because this is the time when every club releases their new footballing kit.

Footballing jerseys are a big part of marketing for almost every club and nowadays the unveiling of a kit is no lesser feat that unveiling a new signing.




Almost every major Premier League club have shown off their new kits and a couple of days back it was Tottenham Hotspur who revealed their new line of collection.




While the home jerseys gathered unanimous praise from all the supporters when the Lilywhites revealed their way kit some fans found something very unusual.






As soon as pictures of the new Tottenham Hotspur away kit was revealed online, fans immediately started claiming that the jersey had a resemblance to Barcelona’s training kit for the 2018-19 season.



Suddenly from being applauded for their home kit, the Spurs team and also Nike – who are the official kit manufacturers of the club, became the butt of all jokes.















This is not the first time that sportswear manufacturing giants Nike has been accused of blatantly using one idea and using it for various clubs.




Some fans have called out Nike claiming that the brand has lost most of its originality and are using the same template across various clubs throughout the world.
