After Man United’s embarrassing loss to Liverpool in the pre-season friendly, manager Jose Mourinho made some harsh comments about his players as well as the management.

Mourinho claimed that the club’s hierarchy have failed to deliver their promise of bringing in new signings during the summer transfer window and that he was still waiting for two more players.

And now it seems one of those two players is set to arrive at the club.

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are planning to bring in two new players before the transfer window shuts down as a result of which they have put up three of their first team players for sale – amongst which atleast one is a Man United target.

As per Sky Sports, Mauricio Pochettino has told the Spurs management that the club can offload the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele.

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is one Pochettino’s targets and the club are willing to listen to offers for the above mentioned players in order to raise funds.

Both Mousa Dembele and Alderweireld have entered the final phase of their contracts and the last thing Daniel Levy would want to do is to let the players leave on a free transfer.

Manchester United have been chasing Toby Alderweireld for some time now and certain reports had claimed that the Old Trafford outfit were planning to make one last attempt to get the defender onboard before the transfer window closes next week.

But now that the Lilywhites have themselves put Alderweireld up for sale the only thing left for Man United to do is to agree on a transfer fee and bring the Belgium to Old Trafford.

Spurs are also willing to sell off Danny Rose who has received very little game time last season in the Premier League and we will have to wait and see if Jose Mourinho pushes his board to make a dual offer for Toby Alderweireld and Rose.
