Ibrox Rangers

So far Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard has made ten signings since he was appointed the new manager at Ibrox but the former Liverpool man still new one more key signing in order to make his squad complete.

Gerrard recently claimed that he needs atleast two to three good players in every position of the pitch and keeping in line with that news the club still needs to bring in a new striker.

Currently, Steven Gerrard has Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq as his two recognized strikers but the boss knows pretty well that he needs one more forward as soon as possible.

And former Rangers man Derek Ferguson feels that the Light Blues can still bag the services of Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty.

Lafferty has been on the radar of the Gers for a couple of weeks now and recent reports have claimed that Hearts have rejected a £200,000 bid for Kyle Lafferty.

But Ferguson feels that Rangers can still bring their former striker back to Ibrox if they really push for it.

Ferguson said“He’s been there, he’s done it, he’s a fan favourite,

“He knows what it’s all about, you would think he would hit the ground running. I think he’s desperate to move back.

“He’s a big Rangers man and he’s still got a bit about him. You talk about Edouard, that’s what Rangers need. Alfredo Morelos can be a hit or a miss.”

Kyle Lafferty knows his way about the club having spent four years with the club and according to Ferguson, he is desperate to move back to Ibrox.

So now all Steven Gerrard will have to do is to agree on a right price for the 30-year-old.

According to previous reports, Hearts want somewhere in the region of £750,000 for Kyle Lafferty but Rangers’ last bid was less than half of what Hearts are demanding.

Now if the Gers do want to go back with a fresh bid for Kyle Lafferty then they would have to up that offer – close to £750,000.
