Spurs lost 1-0 at home to West Ham United on Saturday which means they still need one more win order to secure that top-four spot.

After Arsenal’s loss to Wolves in midweek and Man United playing against Chelsea on Sunday, the Lilywhites had the chance of nailing their Champions League berth for the upcoming season.

But like they have done for so many seasons now, Pochettino’s men seem to be crumbling under pressure right at the exact moment.

Right now, the North London club are third on the league table and if Arsenal can beat Leicester City then Unai Emery met will be tied on points with Spurs.

After the loss, many people have come out to claim that the Spurs players looked fatigued and disoriented during the West Ham clash.

And Robbie Savage seems to have gone one further saying that Dele Alli might have been playing with an injury.

“I don’t know if Dele Alli is carrying an injury but I think…I think he has lost that zip in the way he covers the ground,” said Savage on BBC Radio 5 Live

“I mean when you play him in midfield he does time his run superbly into the box…”

Dele Alli did break his wrist a couple of weeks back but that injury surely hasn’t done anything to hamper his presence on the pitch.

So as far as we are concerned, it was just a bad day at the office for Dele Alli who will be itching to bounce back when Spurs take on Ajax in the Champions League semi-finals.
