Football is brutal, hash, emotional. But sometimes it gives us moments which makes us forget our pain for that one slight moment.
And one such incident was when Steve Bruce was hit by a cabbage this week.
Yes, you read that right. It was a cabbage.
Aston Villa were playing Preston North End at Villa Park on Tuesday and the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
And some braveheart fan chose to smuggle in a cabbage with him inside the stadium and then went one step ahead at threw it straight at Steve Bruce.

Reacting to the whole incident, Steve Bruce said: “I find the whole thing hugely disrespectful.
“The one thing I’ve always had is the determination to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in.
“I’ll always have a go.”
Currently, the club and the police have started a manhunt for the fan who threw the cabbage but someone chose to go one step further and make a Twitter account for the cabbage.
Yes, the account goes by the name of Aston Villa Cabbage and it is already a hit amount the fans.
This is easily one of the most hilarious incidents that we have seen during a football match in recent times. But thankfully Steve Bruce was not hurt by the cabbage.
