Arsenal have been on a roll after a rocky start to the new season but Petr Cech’s injury against Watford might give a few concerns to the manager.
Cech pulled up while taking a goal kick right before half-time which meant that second choice keeper Bernd Leno had to take his place and ended up playing almost half the match.
The club have confirmed the keeper has suffered a hamstring injury which initially gave the impression he will be out for months.
But thankfully Petr Cech’s injury is not as serious as it was first being thought and reports claim the player should return to full training within three weeks time.
While many are doubting this claim but the fact that the keeper managed to walk off the pitch instead of being stretchered out were clear signs that Petr Cech’s injury might not be too serious.
While the Arsenal fans will surely be tensed with Petr Cech’s injury but the manager should not have any troubles given he has an apt replacement in the form of Bernd Leno.

Leno has been waiting in the sidelines for a couple of weeks now and Petr Cech’s injury has given the German the perfect opportunity to make the No 1 spot his own.
Bend Leno will now get an uninterrupted streak of games and by the time Petr Cech returns, the senior pro could very well become the second choice keeper for Unai Emery.
Petr Cech’s injury might be a setback but it in no ways should halt the momentum that the Gunners have gathered over the past couple of weeks.
