Unai Emery stop Joachim Low from entering Arsenal training ground

Germany manager Joachim Low decided to visit the Arsenal training grounds after the FIFA Best Awards and reports suggest that his main aim was to meet with Mesut Ozil.

Ozil had recently released a statement in which he attacked a number of people and fans for directing racist judgements towards him.

After a poor run at the World Cup for Germany, Ozil said:

“In the eyes of [German FA president Reinhard] Grindel and his supporters, I am German when we win, but I am an immigrant when we lose,

“I am still not accepted into society. I am treated as being ‘different’.”

And as soon as this statement was released it caused a huge uproar amongst the footballing circuit with most people taking Mesut Ozil’s side.

Now though after the bust had more or less settled down, Joachim Low chose to talk with Ozil face to face at Arsenal but reports suggest he was barred from doing so by the Gunners boss Unai Emery.

This bit of news quickly became the centre of debate in England as many fans supported Emery for shielding Mesut Ozil.

But Arsenal correspondent Charles Watts, who works for football.london has revealed a totally new angle to the whole story.

According to Watts, Low visited the Arsenal training grounds with the sole purpose of meeting with Per Mertesacker.

Watts also goes on to add that Joachim Low also met with other players like Shkodran Mustafi and Bernd Leno and he even had a chat with Unai Emery himself.

As per the report, Low had no intention of meeting with Ozil and the player was himself not present at the training grounds when the Germany manager visited.

So Unai Emery stopping Joachim Low from entering the Arsenal training ground is nothing but rubbish.

Thankfully the whole situation has now been cleared before it could blow up to crazy proportions and the Gunners fans can now go back to focusing on their team’s next Premier League game which is against Watford this weekend.
