Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their manager during the summer transfer window.

And his main job this season was to bring the club back into the Champions League.

But the former PSG boss has managed to do a lot more than that and within just a few months, the Gunners have started playing some eye-catching football.

Arsenal have managed to score goals at will and with the introduction of Lucas Torreira, Unai Emery’s men can finally manage to dictate a football game especially in the midfield area.

And speaking before the Liverpool vs Arsenal game on Saturday, Unai Emery has said that he wants to emulate Jurgen Klopp’s formula which the German had used when he first joined the Anfield outfit a couple of seasons ago.

“We [Sevilla] played against Liverpool three years ago in the final of the Europa League and I look then on this process and it’s a very good example because I am looking with the coaches on how we are now and with the difference in the table in four years with us and over teams,” the Spaniard told reporters.

“The progression with Liverpool is clear, three years ago they were out of the Champions League. They lost against us [Sevilla] in the Europa League and this progress is one example for us now in our moment.

“But we need to be very demanding ourselves to do this step quickly. We need time and sometimes the patience is very important for us.”

Arsenal will go into the Liverpool game as slight underdogs but the Gunners fans very well know that with the kind of firepower which they have up front picking up three points will not be a far-fetched dream.
