West Ham United want Dennis Premier League Watford Vicarage Road

West Ham United have managed to pick up just a single point from their first two games of the new season. And next up they take on Watford away from home.

Watford much like their opponents have not been a good run since they are currently at the bottom of the league table without a single point.

So naturally, this match will be a great significance to both Javi Garcia and Manuel Pellegrini.

But going into this match though, the Hammers could have a slight advantage over the home side since Watford boss Javi Garcia has confirmed that he might be missing a few of his key players this weekend.

The first absentee is likely to be midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure who is currently nursing an ankle injury while the other player is Roberto Pereyra who has a thigh injury.

“They are not training and we’ll see in the next days if some of them can be available or not. In this moment they are doubtful,” the Hornets manager confirmed(as reported by Football London).

“I’m sure we miss the players we don’t have, but we don’t complain about that.

“We have other players waiting and now is the moment to show the strength of our squad. All the players are working well and I’m sure we are going to have a good performance.”

As per reports, both these players will go through a late fitness test on Saturday in order to determine their availability but the medical staff at Vicarage Road are not keeping their hopes up too high.

And the absence of these two players could act as vital leverage in helping West Ham United pick up their first win of the new season.

But all is not doom and gloom for the Watford manager since he has indicated that there could be starts for some of his new players.

Club record signing Ismaila Sarr and Danny Welbeck are yet to start a game for Watford but the manager has indicated that they could be in line to do the same this weekend vs the Hammers.

“They are training well,” Gracia said.

“Both are not in the best condition but most important in this moment is that they can help us.”
