West Ham United have finally picked up their first win of the season this weekend when they defeated Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park.

The Hammers saw a goal from Andriy Yarmolenko in the first half after which Marko Arnautovic added a third right after the hour-mark helping Manuel Pellegrini pick up his first points as the West Ham manager.

While the fans are surely relieved that their team has finally picked up pace during the new season but clearly controversy has not left the club yet.

All throughout the last week, there were reports that Manuel Pellegrini was about to lose his job and the fans wanted him to vacate his chair asap.

Now that the Chilean has picked up his first win, the boos against Pellegrini have somewhat died down as the fans have found a new target.

Perez pulled off a Carlos Tevez as he refused to get off the bench and warm up.

Here are some totally justified reactions:

After spending a couple of unconvincing seasons at Arsenal, the forward signed a three-year contract with West Ham United for a reported fee of £4 million but now given that Lucas Perez refused to warm up during the Everton game it clearly looks like the Hammers have flushed £4 million down the drain.
