West Ham news Pedro Obiang

West Ham United suffered yet another blow this time losing to Everton at home in the Premier League.

The Hammers have a decent enough side who should be more than capable of finishing in the top half of the league. But unfortunately, the Hammers have just not been consistent.

On Saturday, Manuel Pellegrini chose to make a number of changes to his first eleven and it fair to say these shuffles were not very ideal.

One of the changes the manager made was in central midfielder where he chose to play Pedro Obiang in partnership with Declan Rice.

And clearly, this was a recipe for disaster.

Pedro Obiang had one of the worst outings of his career and the midfielder lasted just 45 minutes after he was substituted by Michael Antonio as soon as the second half began.

Now many reports are claiming that Pedro Obiang might just have played the final game of his Hammers career.

The 27-year-old joined the London club from Sampdoria back in 2015 and this season he has fallen down the pecking order thanks primarily to Declan Rice.

Pedro Obiang might have played 20 Premier League games this season, but most of these have come off the bench and clearly, the pairing of Mark Noble and Declan Rice are the first choice midfielders for Pellegrini.

Many rumours have claimed that the Equatorial Guinea man is of no use to West Ham United any more and Manuel Pellegrini will be more than to sell him off at the end of the season if any club makes an enquiry about him.
