Alfredo Morelos has been heavily linked with a move out of Rangers this summer and in recent weeks, the name of West Ham United has popped up quite often.

Multiple reports have suggested that the Hammers are interested in signing the Colombian now that they have parted ways with Marko Arnautovic and that Pellegrini might have already made a move.

And this transfer would be an ideal one for Alfredo Morelos since he had previously expressed his desire of playing in the Premier League.

Last year he had said: “I dream every day of playing in the Premier League.

“I want to improve in each training session so I can get there.

“Last year I had a good season and I have started this one well too. I am happy with our new manager and I am enjoying life at Rangers.

“It’s because of my form at Rangers that I was called up for the national team.

“For two years now since I moved to Europe, I have dreamed and worked for this. I went to Finland with a positive attitude and that got me to Rangers.”

But speaking about the possible bid from West Ham United Gers managing director Stewart Robertson has made it clear that the club have not received any bids for Alfredo Morelos up until now.

But while saying this, he has also hinted to the fact that the forward’s future at the club is far from certain.

“Listen, we’ll see what happens,” he told the Daily Record.

“There’s been no bids for Alfredo so far. He’s started the season well with four goals in two games.

“He’s playing with a smile on his face, so he looks happy to be here and we’re delighted to have him.”

West Ham United certainly have the financial power to sign Alfredo Morelos but they will have to make the move quick since Gerrard has made it clear that he will only let the striker leave if he has enough time to find a replacement.
