Pellistri is without a doubt one of the most talked-about youngsters in world football right now and this season, he’s caught a lot of attention in Europe.

There’s a substantial chance the player could be heading to one of the top five leagues in Europe next season which is why we decided to take a look at him.

Who is the Real Madrid transfer target?

Facundo Pellistri is currently 18 years old and plays for the Uruguayan side Penarol having joined them as an 11-year-old. He was promoted to the senior side last summer and this season he has made five appearances for the club providing one assist.

He made his debut for the first team when he was still 17 and recently he penned a new contract with the club which will keep him with Penarol until 2022. This was primarily achieved thanks to Diego Forlan who is currently managing the Primera Division side.

What type of player is Facundo Pellistri?

The player is a right-winger by trade but as per some reports, he has a knack of cutting inside and joining attacks whenever he gets a chance. Apart from having some tricks up his sleeve, the player is also said to be really strong which is why he’s made such rapid progress in the Uruguayan league – one which is famous for being really physical.

He has a perfect blend of technique and skill and is also known to be a team player which is one quality that has really caught the eyes of the various scouts who have been watching him.

Where will Facundo Pellistri land up?

There’s a huge buzz that Real Madrid will be trying hard to bring him on board this summer but now with interests from Man City and Wolves, things might get a bit tricky for Zidane.

Man City are currently being managed by one of the best managers in world football and any youngster will love to play under him while Wolves play a brand of football which could very much suit Facundo Pellistri.

But despite all these positives, we feel Real Madrid are still the frontrunners in this deal since most South American players choose to play in Spain and given it’s the Los Blancos, Facundo Pellistri could be very well snub all the other offers and move to Madrid in the summer.

His exit remains a big possibility as of now and his current boss Diego Forlan could have a big say as to which club the youngster should join.
