The Premier League is set to return this weekend after the international break and we have a number of big games to look forward too.

Manchester United take on Watford who are currently third on the league table while West Ham United travel to Merseyside in the hopes of picking up their first points against Marco Silva’s Everton.

But clearly, the shot-stopper event for the weekend will be the clash between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Before the match, Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold sat down for an interview with the Daily Mail during which he was asked a very important question.

Who is the fastest player in the Premier League?

And in reply to this question, Alexander-Arnold had a very clear answer.

The 19-year-old came up with two players initially but finally chose one of them – and for good reason.

Arnold said: “That was where Marcus [Rashford] and [Wilfried] Zaha gave me a tough time.

“Marcus is probably the fastest in the league. But it’s not just out-and-out pace. It’s getting you off balance, that’s when they get you. It’s not just a foot race. They get you off balance, then your body shape’s not right and they’re gone.”

Rashford would surely have made it to the list for many a people and the fact that he had a fine performance for England against Spain this weekend goes on to show why exactly the Liverpool full-back chose him.

But one big criticism that the fans and pundits have with Marcus Rashford is his final finish.

Once he manages to sort that one out then surely he is one of the brightest prospects for England as well as Manchester United.
