SPFL Celtic FC Scottish Premiership

Celtic FC are en route to another Premiership title by the end of this season but this week all their focus will be their Europa League campaign where they on FC Copenhagen.

The first leg was played in at the Telia Parken and the Bhoys managed to come back home with that crucial away goal as the managed finished 1-1.

And according to Charlie Nicholas, Celtic FC should be able to pick up a comfortable win when these two sides meet for the reverse fixture on Thursday.

The pundit wrote for Sky Sports: “The Premiership is in the bag for Celtic and I think this will be a comfortable European night.

“Copenhagen have no pace upfront and little quality in the centre-back department.

“Dame N’Doye scored against Celtic – he is a handful but Celtic could play a high line without getting too worried. The two Copenhagen midfielders are decent talents but the rest, I think, are average.

“It could be more than this but Celtic will turn it on again, regardless. Through to the last 16 for Neil Lennon’s side.”

Celtic FC have never lost to a Danish opposition at home managing to pick up four wins and two draws and to make things even secure, the Glasgow outfit have kept clean sheets in all these matches.

So naturally, Neil Lennon and his players will be going into this game with a lot of confidence and with the Celtic Park crowd backing them up, progressing to the next round of the Europa League shouldn’t be a problem for the reigning SPFL champions.
