Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha was easily one of the star performers for the Eagles during the 2017-18 season which has attracted attention from a number of top Premier League clubs.

These rumours surrounding Zaha are nothing new as the player had secured a move out of Palace a couple of seasons ago to Manchester United. But his time at Old Trafford was a total disaster and he eventually moved back to Crystal Palace in 2015.

But during the previous campaign, the winger once again showed what he is capable of by helping the Eagles move out of the relegation battle and remain in the Premier League.

Recently Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a move out of Crystal Palace with Tottenham Hotspur being the favourites to sign the 25-year-old.

Various reports suggest that Mauricio Pochettino is ready to spend as much as £70 million for the services of the winger.

And on Friday Wilfried Zaha sent out a cryptic message on his social media account which suggested that his move out of Selhurst Park is just a matter of time.

First, the winger posted an Instagram story which read: “Today is the day I make a chance with everything.”

And immediately after this was posted both the Spurs and the Palace fans were entangled in a debate as to whether Wilfried Zaha has agreed on a deal to move out of the club.

And if this was not enough, Wilfried Zaha then went on to remove Crystal Palace from his Instagram bio which in today’s day and age is almost a definite proof that a player is about to change loyalties.

The winger’s move out of Selhurst Park has been a huge topic of debate amongst the Palace fans for the past couple of weeks but they are hoping that Tottenham Hotspur will shy away from spending £70 odd million on him.

Zaha’s earlier stint with Manchester United was a complete failure but given that the player has gained a lot of experience since then, we doubt if he would make those same mistakes that he made during his time at Old Trafford.
