Aaron Ramsey playing for Arsenal

Serie A side Juventus are planning to use midfielder Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal to bring in Jorginho from Chelsea during the summer, according to Daily Mail.

The report quotes an Italian outfit saying: “Aaron Ramsey’s spell in Italy could be coming to an end after 12 months, but a return to the Premier League could come at a rather unexpected place.

“The former Arsenal star moved to Juventus last summer but has not made the desired impact at the Serie A giants.

“And reports in Italy suggest that Chelsea could be his shock next destination as Maurizio Sarri seeks to revamp his midfield.

“The former Blues boss is hoping to use the Welshman as bait in a bid to land out-of-favour midfielder Jorginho, according to Tuttosport.”

Will Aaron Ramsey move back to the PL?

Aaron Ramsey joined Juventus from Arsenal last summer on a free transfer but the Welshman has clearly failed to make an impact in Italy.

During the 2019-20 season, the central midfielder has played in only 19 league matches for the Old Lady, scoring just three goals.

And with Maurizio Sarri so eager to get back Jorginho next season, Ramsey could very well be allowed to join Chelsea during the summer.

We are not sure how this arrangement will progress in the coming months but the Arsenal fans will clearly not be too happy with this news since they did not get a dime when Aaron Ramsey moved out of the Emirates last year and now he might be on the verge of joining one of their biggest rivals.

The 29-year-old has seen a major dip in form during the past season but he still remains a top player and there’s every chance that Frank Lampard could opt to sign him in a swap deal for Jorginho.

But the biggest problem is that Chelsea have a lot of players who play in the same position as Aaron Ramsey so we are not quite sure where the Welshman would fit in at Stamford Bridge.
