Juventus are preparing to sell off midfielder Adrien Rabiot and it looks like the player could be on his way to the English Premier League – as per reports.

The midfielder moved to Juventus last summer on a free transfer but things have not been too bright for him in Italy under his new manager Maurizio Sarri.

During the 2019-20 season, the midfielder has played in only 17 Serie A matches and most of them have been off the bench. Plus to make matters worse, he has neither scored a goal nor provided an assist for the Old Lady.

Clearly he does not fit the future plans of Sarri which is why the Turin outfit are ready to offload him in the summer and right now Premier League side Arsenal are the favourites to sign him.

Sports Mole are reporting: “Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly open to joining Arsenal this summer.

“Juve are said to be determined to sell Rabiot this summer, and according to L’Equipe, he would be open to moving to the Emirates Stadium ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.”

Can Arsenal really sign Adrien Rabiot?

This is really bad news for Manchester United who have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old for a number of months.

But we have a feeling that Solskjaer’s side are not yet out of the transfer race since they have something that Juventus badly want – Paul Pogba.

Pogba is seriously wanted back at Juventus next season and there’s a big chance the Man United manager might try and use the World Cup winner in a swap deal to lure in Adrien Rabiot.

This though will all depend on what Pogba wants and if he is keen to stay back at Old Trafford then there’s no way the Red Devils will want to encourage a swap deal.

Arsenal might have jumped ahead of the queue at this moment but the final decision does lie with Juventus since the player still has three years left on his current deal meaning the Old Lady are in hurry to cash in on the midfielder.
