Centre-forward Armando Broja has caught the attention of several big clubs and as per Football London Arsenal are also amongst the suitors.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Southampton and his recent performances have been really impressive. He might have scored only six goals in 20 Premier League games but he’s shaping up to become a top-class striker.

His loan deal will expire in the summer when he is slated to return to his parent club Chelsea but as per Daily Express, Armando Broja has not ruled out signing for a new club.

Will Chelsea allow Armando Broja to leave in the summer?

Chelsea currently have players like Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku so at least theoretically, Thomas Tuchel has no use of Armando Broja. But both Werner and Lukaku have failed to impress and there are some rumours that the manager might be looking to sell one of them.

Lukaku and Werner have been highly disappointing this season and if their performances do not improve then there’s every chance that Tuchel might look to bring someone like Armando Broja into the first-team squad next season.

We don’t think Romelu Lukaku will be put up for sale in the summer since this is only his first season in the PL since joining from Inter but Timo Werner has spent a considerable amount of time in England but is yet to live up to the hype from his Bundesliga days.

We are not yet sure how this is going to pan out but we doubt if the Blues will want to let a talented player like Broja leave in the summer, But then, the London side, in the past, have made several such transfer blunders, the prime examples being Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah.

Will Armando Broja choose a move to Arsenal?

Southampton are expected to try and convince Armando Broja to remain at the club permanently but if Arsenal come calling then the Saints have no chance at holding onto him.

Mikel Arteta has sold Aubameyang and even Lacazette and Nketiah are going to leave in the summer so if the Chelsea academy lad chooses to join the Gunners he will become the undisputed first-choice centre-forward at the club.

Apart from Arsenal, we don’t think any other top-six sides are interested in signing Armando Broja so even if the Gunners fail to secure a Champions League spot, it won’t make too much of a difference in this particular transfer race.

Broja’s current deal with Chelsea expires in 2026 meaning the Blues can very easily ask for an astronomical price for his sale but no matter what the cost, Arsenal will have to bring in a centre-forward.
