Arsenal defender Sead Kolasanic joined the club from Schalke in 2017 on a free transfer and since then the left-back has proved his worth under both Wenger and Emery.

This season, the 25-year-old has played in 28 games for the Gunners, assisting eight goals and the Bosnian has been an integral part of the attack.

But during the past couple of months, there have been rumours that Sead Kolasinac might very well be on his way out of the club as Unai Emery is planning to bring in a new left-back during the summer transfer window.

And talking about the potential new arrival, Sead Kolasinac has now claimed that he is very much aware of all the transfer speculation but right now he only has one focus.

He told Goal: “I think you will always have that speculation, that happens at a club like this.

“I just look at us as a team at the moment and I want us to finish as positively as possible and I want to be a part of that.

“What happens in the summer, I don’t know. But I’m very happy at Arsenal, I’m really pleased to be playing for a club like this.”

Kolasinac, who represents Bosnia-Herzegovina at the international level, highlighted the improvements Emery has made to his game.

“We watch a lot of videos, he and the rest of the coaching staff really try to help me.

“We always watch those videos together to improve.

“A day after a game we will look at what’s gone well, what’s not gone well and we’ll speak about it honestly and try to make those improvements so that they show in the next game.”

Sead Kolasinac signed a five-year deal with Arsenal meaning his current contract will expire in 2022.

And given the way, the left-back has been performing this season, we do not expect him to be sold during the summer regardless of what Arsenal’s transfer activity is.
