Chelsea have had a mixed season under their new manager Maurizio Sarri but they have the chance of finishing the season on a high.

The Blues will take on Arsenal in the Europa League final and they will now have the opportunity to end the season with a silverware.

Roman Abramovich appointed Maurizio Sarri as the manager of Chelsea last summer but the season has really not gone to the liking of the owner.

The initial plan was to bring back Champions League football to Stamford Bridge next season and the London outfit has achieved that but with a lot of pain and struggle.

And now reports are ripe that the Blues are looking to part ways with the Italian manager.

Rumours that Chelsea are looking to sack Maurizio Sarri at the end of the season have been doing the rounds for some time but The Telegraph are now reporting that the club will wait until the final before they make a final call.

Chelsea have finished third on the Premier League table which means the initial goal has been achieved by Sarri but still the management does not seem to be too pleased.

Sarri has made it clear that he wishes to stay at Chelsea but whether or not they beat Arsenal in the Europa League final will have a serious impact on that.

Some rumours claim that if the Blues beat their London rivals at Baku then Abramovich might very well give a second chance to the former Napoli manager.

But the result goes against Chelsea, then Maurizio Sarri could very well be packing his bags.

Having said that though, if Chelsea do sack the Italian then he surely has no shortage of takers since both AC Milan and Roma are keen on bringing him onboard in case Chelsea choose to sack him.

So now it looks like, the future of Maurizio Sarri rests on whether Chelsea beat Arsenal in Europa League final or not.
