Tottenham Hotspur have been trying really hard to sign Richarlison and according to Football.London, they could agree on a transfer within the next 24 hours.

Antonio Conte will be sending out Bergwijn this summer which means he is currently looking for reinforcements and if everything goes to plan then Richarlison could be his next big signing.

Fabrizio Romano had updated on Wednesday night that Spurs have agreed on personal terms with Richarlison’s entourage which means it’s only a matter of time before the Brazilian heads to North London.

He wrote on Twitter: “Full agreement between Richarlison representatives and Tottenham on personal terms. Long term contract agreed with his new agents, waiting to complete the deal with Everton.

“New direct contact scheduled soon to discuss deal details between the two clubs.”

Will Spurs be able to sign Richarlison or will Arsenal stage a coup?

Arsenal are on the brink of losing Richarlison as Chelsea have been able to hijack this deal and the Gunners might try and do the same with Spurs.

Richarlison has been on Mikel Arteta’s wishlist all throughout this summer and now that he won’t be able to sign Raphinha, Arsenal could very well try and convince Richarlison to snub a move to Spurs and join them.

However, we seriously doubt if the Brazilian international will want to refuse Tottenham to join Arsenal and play in the Europa League. He is very much aware of Arsenal’s interest, despite which he’s agreed on personal terms with Conte’s side which only means that he has his heart set on joining Spurs.

The only way Arsenal can mess up this deal is if they can outbid their North London rivals because Everton are yet to make up their mind. A sizeable bid will be able to convince Everton to sell to Arsenal but we doubt if the Gunners have the finances to push Tottenham down the pecking order.

We expect Spurs to go ahead with this deal and they should be able to wrap up the transfer by the weekend.
