Liverpool have been in song this season once again managing to come out of a tricky situation vs Cardiff City.

Neil Warnock’s side looked all set to cause an upset but thankfully goals from Wijnaldum and a penalty from James Milner were enough to push the Reds back onto the top of the table.

Despite such a flawless performance this season, Jurgen Klopp is expected to bring in a couple of new signings during the summer and Cascarino feels the Liverpool boss could very well make a move for Wilfried Zaha.

The former Man United flop has been on song this season for Palace and the Ivorian international once again had a major impact during Crystal Palace’s win over Arsenal this weekend.

During the 2018-19 season, Wilfried Zaha has played in 33 games scoring nine goals and providing eight assists which seems to have caught the attention of many top English clubs.

The 26-year-old recently claimed that he wants to play in the Champions League in the near future and Cascarino believes Liverpool will try and swoop him up at the end of the season.

“Well, all of the top-six now are playing attack-minded football,” Cascarino told talkSPORT(as reported).

“Liverpool played Palace last year and I went to the game and Jurgen Klopp was consistently on Alexander-Arnold about Wilf Zaha, you could see it from the sideline.

“Literally tracking his movements, Zaha, the whole game.

“I kept thinking after that game, Klopp really does respect Zaha as a player and he knows how dangerous he is.

“It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him at Liverpool, but he could do a job for any of the top-six.”

Wilfried Zaha is out of contract in 2023 but multiple reports have claimed that Palace will be more than willing to let him leave in case a club is ready to offer the right amount of money.
